Uma anedota famosa conta que, em sua obsess\u00e3o por visualizar as \u00ablinhas de for\u00e7a\u00bb que rodeavam uma carga el\u00e9trica, espalhou limalhas de ferro por todo o laborat\u00f3rio, deixando o piso coberto por padr\u00f5es que pareciam arte moderna. Seus colegas, confusos, pensaram que ele tinha perdido o ju\u00edzo, mas Faraday estava delineando um dos conceitos mais revolucion\u00e1rios: o campo el\u00e9trico. Neste artigo, exploraremos como essas ideias, nascidas do g\u00eanio e da experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, nos permitem mapear e entender as intera\u00e7\u00f5es invis\u00edveis que governam a eletricidade. Essa for\u00e7a \u00e9 estudada por meio da Lei de Coulomb. Com base nisso, dizemos que a fonte de carga \u00abinunda o espa\u00e7o\u00bb com uma propriedade, um Campo El\u00e9trico, que \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel por produzir a for\u00e7a el\u00e9trica.<\/p>\n<p>Para medir o campo el\u00e9trico de uma carga <span class=\"katex-eq\" data-katex-display=\"false\">q<\/span> em um certo ponto <span class=\"katex-eq\" data-katex-display=\"false\">\\vec{r}<\/span> no espa\u00e7o, precisamos colocar uma carga de teste <span class=\"katex-eq\" data-katex-display=\"false\">q_0<\/span> naquele lugar.
